Brain power foods are foods that can improve your brain power significantly with consistent consumption. Eating brain power foods will improve your alertness, energy and response time. Ain't that great? Brain food are important for the production of neurotransmitters as information passed through them. The neurotransmitter produce the neurotransmitter by using precursors.

So, why is the neurotransmitter important for you? Simply because different neurotransmitter can have different impacts to your body. For example, the neurotransmitter serotonin can make you calmer and dopamine makes you more alert. The production of neurotransmitters depends on what you eat thus eating brain power foods is a must if you want to be mentally alert throughout your life.

Okay, lets cut to the point. What kind of food for the brain am I talking about? I am talking about foods that are proven to improve people's brain and health. I will tell you what kind of brain power foods am I talking about so that you can start taking action and incorporate all the brain food in your diet.

Let's see the list of food for the brain, shall we?

1. Wild salmon - Apart from being especially tasty (and expensive) , wild salmon can bring great benefits to your brain. This is because wild salmons have essential fatty acid and DHA. People who frequently eat wild salmon usually find that their mood improved. The DHA helps to counter Alzheimer and also memory loss. 4. Blueberry - Also dubbed as the 'brain berry' blueberry can help to improve memory and cognitive function. The berry brings many benefit to the brain thus earned its name.

5. Coffee beans - Antioxidant, amino acid, vitamin and minerals - what more would you want? The coffee beans have the potential to reduce Alzheimer and Dementia.
